Martha Reed's collectible southwestern broomstick skirts were handmade at her Taos, New Mexico, shop the same way from 1955 until she closed her doors in 1993. Thus, we can't be sure exactly when this lovely peach calico full-circle skirt is from (we suspect the 1970s or early '80s). Three tiers of increasingly tight pleats create a figure-flattering, highly "swirlable" skirt strewn with tiny blue and pink flowers. Closes with an extended tab at the set-on waist. Double hooks&eyes at the side, and an additional one at the back. We show it with and without a crinoline, not included.
