This is a new style of Adult gathered waist dress. The waist sits lower and closer to the natural hip than in the older style twirlies, which had more of an empire waist. These run generous and I'd recommend going down 1-2 sizes (for reference, in an aline I wear a Large,in the scoop neck or flutter-sleeve wrap dresses I'll wear a Medium, and in this style I found that the Small was the best fit for my height/body shape).

Note: Sizes 3X & 4X has pockets that are 1/3 the way along the front (not on the side seam). Sizes 2X-4X have 3/4 length sleeves.
